Tango Lima is owned and operated by Tanya, who is a confirmed shopaholic. Tanya has lived and worked in over 12 countries, starting off in the Uk and ending up here in Australia 12 years ago and has spent many an hour receiving therapy in all kinds of retail outlets. Once she had finally settled on the Gold Coast and had a baby, she pondered her future and wondered what she was going to do to keep a roof over her head and food on the table. Remembering the words of a wise old man she once met in Moscow - " Do what you love and you will be successful and happy ! " She thought some more.......and then decided to open a shop that hopefully people could find an unusual or quirky gift for anyone - man, woman or child. Tango Lima opened its doors in April 2007 with the help of Adelle - Chief Painter, Genevieve - Merchandiser Extraordinaire, Dad - Demolition Man, Mum - Cleanest cleaner and Motivation expert. So, I am doing what I love - Shopping - all be it for other people........its still shopping ! I do hope you enjoy the website and find the perfect present ( or even better something for you ) Tanya x
